Our dreams are big and our hopes are high, but reality has a way of keeping us in check. YesLiberia aspires to do great things and change Liberia and subsequently our world, but the journey must begin somewhere and the challenges must be overcome.

Convicted by the high level of innocence, ignorance, illiteracy, and indigence, in Liberia and other parts of the world, the founder, Mr. Jallah, decided to focus on crystallizing his idea of starting a nonprofit organization and through this conviction was birthed Youth Empowerment Services of Liberia (YesLiberia).

Seeking to be instrumental in the empowerment of youth, YesLiberia focuses on challenging YOUNG people abroad to enrich Liberian lives back home by: a) fostering education; b) improving lives of the underprivileged and disadvantaged; and c) promoting and providing basic health information to children. Determined to be an effective nonprofit organization that makes a difference in the lives of Liberian youth, Mr. Jallah, focused thoroughly on forming the right team for this organization - a team of like-minded individuals who believe in practical transparency, reliability, accountability, and vision. Hence, YesLiberia is comprised of and attracts ONLY modest individuals who give altruistically - seeking no egocentric gains. YesLiberia is accomplishing its intent to remain a grassroot nonprofit organization solely for the purpose of focusing on Liberian children in need.

YesLiberia believes that every Liberian is either a part of the problem or a part of the solution. We believes the time has come for Liberians to stop expecting and requesting help from everyone else and start helping and investing in their nation. Liberians are encouraged to become a part of the solution as individuals choosing to collectively make a difference in the future of their country. In the words of Lyndon Johnson, "there are no problems we cannot solve together, and very few that we can solve by ourselves."

YesLiberia is a legitimately registered nonprofit organization, granted a 501 c3 status from the US federal government in July 2009.
