Each year, YesLiberia provides school supplies to disadvantaged students in Liberia. To date, the organization has supplied over 500 students at 8 different schools in Liberia. YesLiberia is also a proud scholarship sponsor of 150 students through our Tuition Assistance Program (TAP). Because of the enormous need in Liberia, the organization follows a rigid policy to reach students who are in dire need, appreciative of the opportunities and willing to give back to their communities through assigned volunteerism. Below are the steps we follow in granting scholarships to any students:

Determine the number of students to sponsor annually.
Step 2
Raised funds required for annual sponsorships.
Step 3
Gathers lists of students in need from various schools
Step 6
Staff verifies students’ names, attendance records, essays and grades requirements.
Step 5
Send funds to Liberia for scholarships’ disbursements.
Step 4
Make random school visits and submit findings to headquarter.
Step 7
Verified documents are submitted to Headquarters in the USA.
Step 8
Headquarter reviews documentations and approve scholarship.
Step 9
Transfer scholarship funds to Liberia.
Step 12
Website updated with ONLY proven and verified information on sponsorship.
Step 11
Random calls made to students, parents, and schools to document proof of payment.
Step 10
Scanned or copied receipts forwarded to headquarter.
